Rockstar's 'GTA' 60-Car Garage, Import/Export Update Is Pretty Brutal On The Pocket, And It's Players' Fault

GTA Online just received another massive update, and it has so far gotten polarizing reviews from fans. After much speculations from the GTA community, the Import/Export update has finally rolled out, enabling players of the popular online game to expand their virtual criminal empires through the illicit trade of exotic and deadly vehicles. As much as the update is a pretty notable patch to the popular online game, however, numerous players have voiced out their complaints about the strings attached to the contents of the update.
The GTA Online Import/Export update is pretty huge, and it serves as a very notable extension to the CEO gameplay that debuted in Further Adventures in Finance and Felony. Rockstar has announced that with the Import/Export update, players would be able to acquire and sell luxury vehicles that were stolen or imported illegally. These vehicles could then be stored in a luxurious Executive Garage that is capable of holding as much as 60 vehicles. For all intents and purposes, Rockstar has made sure that the Import/Export update to GTA Online would be its classiest one yet.
One thing that has not sat well with numerous players of the online game, however, are the prices attached to the contents of the GTA Online Import/Export update. It’s not that the vehicular additions to the game are not compelling enough, it is simply the fact that everything in the update is just way too expensive. So expensive, in fact, that longtime players have begun accusing Rockstar of becoming like every other game company in the world, pandering to players who can dish out as much real-world money as possible and neglecting veteran gamers who have stuck with the franchise for years.
While the complaints about the GTA Online Import/Export update seem like whining on the part of longtime players, those who have voiced out their criticism actually have very valid points. After all, practically everything in the recent patch is extremely expensive, with some vehicles costing more than $5 million on their own. That’s more than half of a Megalodon Shark card just for one vehicle, and while the car in question is arguably the best in the game, justifying the price of the vehicle is quite difficult.
Even the 60-car Executive Garage, which is one of the most notable features of the Import/Export update, is extremely costly, with the entire investment for the showroom costing about $7 million, according to VG24/7. That’s two Whale Shark Cards on its own. Overall, longtime fans of the Grand Theft Auto franchise have begun feeling that Rockstar is starting to get a bit too greedy when it comes to milking its player base for profit.
One notable proof of this is the option to change the player’s appearance. The feature has finally been rolled out in the GTA Online Import/Export update after a long wait. But, as many would have guessed, accessing the new in-game feature requires a significant amount of money. How much exactly? Just a cool $100,000, which equates to a Red Shark card that costs $2.99. Of course, purchasing in-game currency with real-world money is fully optional, but considering that most of the really good content in the Import/Export update are very expensive, those unwilling to dish out the cash should prepare for a whole load of grinding.

Holly Holm to fight for Featherweight title

THE UFC will introduce the women’s featherweight division on February 11 in Brooklyn, New York with a new champion being crowned that night.
Former bantamweight champion Holly Holm will move to 65kg where she faces Muay Thai striker Germaine de Randamie in the five round title fight at the Barclays Center.
UFC officials announced the new matchup on Tuesday night.
Holm will look to capture her second UFC title while also trying to stop a two fight skid following consecutive losses to Miesha Tate and Valentina Shevchenko.
The former boxing champion knocked out Ronda Rousey to capture the UFC women’s title at 61kg last November, but came up short in her first defence in March. Now Holm will bump up to a new division with her first fight at 65kg taking place with a title on the line.
Meanwhile, de Randamie will enter the bout on a two fight winning streak and a 3-1 record overall in the UFC.
As a former kickboxer, de Randamie brings a very dangerous skill set to the new featherweight division as she faces Holm with a chance to win UFC gold for the first time.
Of course the winner of the bout between Holm and de Randamie will undoubtedly end up facing Cris “Cyborg” Justino, who is routinely regarded as the best women’s featherweight fighter on the planet.
Cyborg was offered the fight for UFC 208, but turned it down due to her body still recovering from a difficult weight cut to make 63kg for her last bout in the Octagon this past September.
More fights will be added to UFC 208 in the coming weeks with tickets on sale Dec. 16.

Everything We Know So Far About Gigi Hadid And Tommy Hilfiger's Fashion Collaboration

Gigi Hadid has landed a cool new collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger, and the model has just given us a sneak preview of what we can expect.

We’re slightly bummed that we’re going to have to wait until Autumn for Gigi’s exciting new range with the fashion giant to come to fruition, but in true 21st century fashion, she's giving away some of the details via Snapchat.

Gigi shared some very interesting images on the social media platform earlier this week and from what we can see, her collection with the Hilfiger brand is going to be nautical or military inspired. The pic featured a number of blue, white and red aviation-themed badges and patches shaped like stars and military awards. Upon closer inspection we can also make out the letter ‘H’ on the patches - for Hadid and Hilfiger presumably - as well as Gigi's name on one of the badges. Oooh.

We’re thinking that these patches are going to have to be applied to something, so could Gigi be designing a range of bomber jackets or military coats too? She’s definitely been spotted out and about in a khaki green bomber, and her dressed-down style is pretty edgy, so really anything is possible.

The suspense is killing us but whatever the collection is set to look like, we have a feeling it’s going to be impressive. Speaking on the collab recently, Tommy Hilfiger said we could expect the designs to be inspired by Gigi’s ‘style… her sense...her social media presence as the top supermodel in the world today’ in an interview with The New York Times
. Gigi had previously been set to star as the new global ambassador for the brand, but Hilfiger said it would be more exciting to have the model put her own line out. Good thinking Tommy.

Gigi also shared an Instagram shot revealing that she’s recently been on set for the brand filming a campaign shot or advert, it seems, so we know something big is around the corner...

Bitch Stole My Look! Lucy Hale vs. Selena Gomez in Little Red Dior Dresses

Is Hollywood doing a modern remake of Little Red Riding Hood? If so, Lucy Hale and Selena Gomez have both found the look.

The young actresses stepped out in identical Dior dresses with plunging necklines, tight waistlines and pulled-back hairstyles. They chose to keep their accessories to a minimum, both opting for a simple clutch and shoes.

Remarkably, their looks were relatively identical, although one of them did her Dior slightly better. Can you guess who?

VIDEO: Selena takes the plunge

As cute as those metallic Brian Atwood sandals are on the Pretty Little Liars star, they distract us from the dress, and that black hemline just makes it look like her slip is showing from underneath.

The Wizards of Waverly actress, who is three years younger than her fellow Disney diva, appears more sophisticated with her black cap-toe Manolo Blahniks and a simple clutch. The fit of the dress hugs her curves in all the right places and flatters her cleavage, giving her the upper hand.

When it comes down to it, who do you think wore her LRD better?

Bitch Stole My Look! Anne Hathaway vs. Jaime King in Versace's Gigantic Zipper Dress

Anne Hathaway and Jaime King both decided to show off their edgy sides with this black Versace gown featuring a gigantic zippered slit—but who is edgier?

The Heart of Dixie star goes for a standard top knot and accessorizes with dangling earrings and a simple clutch for a classic look that works, and we're just about to hand it to her when something happens.

The Les Misérables actress completely catches us off-guard with her own fierce take on the style, flaunting her curves and pairing the dress with those stunning gladiator-inspired sandals! Now we're at a crossroads...

VIDEO: Anne tells the truth about her infamous Oscar dress

While we're leaning more towards Anne's glam goddess form, it is important to keep in mind that this shot was snapped in a studio with professional lighting and cameras, whereas Jaime was "simply" out and about on the red carpet.

We can hardly call it a battle because of the unfair advantage, but we're going to take our chances and give this one to Anne because this is unlike anything we've seen her in before and we're proud that she was willing to take a chance and actually pulled it off!

Who do you think wore it better?

John Obi Mikel ‘agrees to join Galatasaray’ from Chelsea

Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel has agreed to join Turkish side Galatasaray, according to reports in his native Nigeria.
The 26-year-old only signed a new five-year contract with the Blues in December, but is thought to be ready to end his seven-year relationship with the club if the money offered by Galatasaray is right, according to Nigerian newspaper The Nation.
Mikel would then be joining up with former Chelsea team-mate Didier Drogba, who moved to the Turkish side from Shanghai Shenhua in January.
But Jose Mourinho and the club still need to be convinced to let Mikel depart, with the midfielder having moved to west London during the Portuguese’s last spell in charge and him being a player very much in the Mourinho mould.
However, should the Nigerian international leave Stamford Bridge this summer, it could pave the way for former Chelsea youngster Nemanja Matic to return to the club, with Mourinho keen to re-sign the 25-year-old from Benfica.

MORE:
Matic put in an impressive display against the Blues in May’s Europa League final at the Amsterdam Arena, which Chelsea went on to win 2-1.
The Serbian has already stated he , but Chelsea believe they can still lure him to Stamford Bridge. Failing that, Mikel’s departure could hand a lifeline to Michael Essien, who spent last season on loan at Real Madrid with Mourinho.

Isco: I’m considering Manchester City transfer over Chelsea

I’d love to sign: Isco has hinted at a move to Manchester City (Picture: Getty)
Malaga star Isco has confirmed he is considering joining Manchester City this summer despite receiving huge offers from Chelsea and Real Madrid.
Isco has emerged as one of the most sought-after players this summer, having enjoyed a remarkable 12 months at Malaga following a switch from Valencia.
Chelsea and Madrid are long-term admirers of the player but City have emerged as a clear favourite in recent weeks, having poached his manager at Malaga Manuel Pellegrini.
And according to the player himself, it could prove to be a tipping point when he comes to deciding on his future.
‘Manuel Pellegrini is my footballing father, who gives me confidence,’ said Isco.
‘So of course I have to think about joining Manchester City, I’m looking at it.’
Any deal for Isco is likely to be expensive, with Malaga insisting they will not sell the pass-master for less than his £30million buyout clause.
Isco is expected to formally decide on his future when he returns from the Under-21 European Championships in Israel.
